Our Story
Engage Now Africa is a nonprofit organization established in 2002 to heal, rescue, and lift vulnerable individuals, families, and communities in Sub‑Saharan Africa out of extreme poverty and into self‑reliance. Through education, healthcare, clean water, economic empowerment, and anti‑trafficking initiatives, we partner with local leaders to provide sustainable, community‑driven solutions that break cycles of poverty and exploitation
Where We Work
We operate in multiple African countries, with established offices and programs in Ethiopia, Ghana, Namibia, and Sierra Leone. Our work also supports internally displaced individuals and communities affected by poverty, conflict, and natural disasters across Ghana, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, Uganda, and Namibia.
Our Impact
Since 2002, Engage Now Africa has impacted the lives of more than 13 million people, with a goal to reach an additional 3 million by 2026. Through our literacy, clean water, health, micro‑credit, and anti‑slavery programs, we have strengthened tens of thousands of households and helped adults gain essential skills to transition out of poverty.

Our vision is to see lasting, sustainable change in the villages and communities we serve, where individuals and families have the skills, resources, and opportunities to live free from poverty, slavery, and preventable disease. We envision thriving, self‑reliant communities across Africa, led by strong local leaders and strengthened through education, health, and economic empowerment.
What We Offer
Our core offerings designed to empower our business
HEAL: Health, Clean Water & Sanitation
Our HEAL programs improve community health by providing access to clean water, sanitation, and essential healthcare services in vulnerable villages across Africa. We drill wells, install hand pumps, support health centers, and promote hygiene so families can live healthier, more dignified lives
RESCUE: Anti‑Trafficking & Ending Modern Slavery
Through RESCUE, we work with communities and government partners to prevent human trafficking and modern slavery, rescue victims, and support their reintegration. We raise awareness, provide training, and coordinate interventions that protect vulnerable children, women, and men from exploitation.
LIFT: Education, Literacy & Economic Empowerment
Our LIFT programs provide adult literacy, skills training, and micro‑credit so individuals and families can build sustainable livelihoods and become self‑reliant. We support adult education classes, vocational training, and small business development that empower people to lift themselves out of poverty.
